Recently went back to Honolulu for Kawaii-Kon, and got totally inspired to do a whole batch of "what the hell happened here?" comic strips about how much the town has changed since I've last been back. This will be the first of a couple that are in the hopper.

 

 

Imagine my horror to find that Double 8, my favorite Chinatown restaurant was GONE! Where did they go? Where am I going to get my fix of chicken with black bean sauce cake noodles!? Waah!
